With no reviews on this sideboard and it being one of the more expensive sideboards we looked at, it was a bit of a leap of faith! However, we needn't have worried as we are delighted with our purchase.Price Value Quality
The description neglects to mention the dovetail joints and useful stoppers on the drawers. It has a really solid feel to it - the catches are quite stiff, but this is no bad thing as we have our china in here, and a two year old son with an inquisitive mind!
One other thing that is not clear in the photos or the description is the detailing on the front vertical and horizontal edges. In the centre of each edge, it has been slightly cut away to give a more rustic line, it looks good, but be aware of this before you order (we weren't).
Delivery was very fast, well inside the two weeks that is quoted as a minimum. The delivery service was good, we had a text the day before to confirm a 3 hour slot, and then a call on the day when they were half an hour away. It came well packaged and in excellent condition when we unwrapped it.
All in all, a very good experience and product, and we will return to furnitureplusonline for our next purchase! (Posted on 26/02/2012)
